On Saturday Joelle and I took to the streets of London town, doing a bit of an explore before popping into our old school friend, Maria‘s vintage clearout.
It was such a good location, just off Brick lane in a studio room, and every detail was thought through. Completely whitewashed with white balloons dusting the floor – a great back drop to focus on the clothes on offer.
There were two main rails full to the brim with one off pieces that Maria had painstakingly sourced herself and admitted she was getting separation anxiety letting them go.
The shoes were lined up all screaming “pick me, pick me!” unfortunately there were none in my size, but ever so pretty!
Wait, there’s more… Jewellery lined a long table and a top a mantel piece were beautiful pieces created by Maria’s talented sister. Unfortunately I didn’t take a snap any of her beautiful pieces. But it consisted of chunky gold necklaces and beautifully crafted bracelets.
After we had a good browse, catch up and picked up our popcorn – such a good idea to supply food to, my inner fatty was ecstatic – we picked up our new purchases and said our goodbyes to venture onwards through Brick lane and Spitalfields market!
