Recipe | Molten cheese burger

Cheese burgers are always a good call when your planning a night out, but inverting those cheese burgers so when you break through the burger a river of golden molten cheese pours out, well that’s just heavenly.

My mother always told me to share, so being the nice person that I am I’ll share this corker with you all!

To serve four (or make two double deckers like I did):

1 onion (finely chopped)

400g mince beef

1 egg

100g bread crumbs

Handful cheddar cheese (grated)

Handful gruyer cheese (grated)

50g flour (to dust)

Olive oil to fry

Burger bun and toppings of preference

Lightly sweat the onion until slightly coloured.

Then add to a bowl of the raw mince beef, egg and bread crumbs. Once combined section into four.

Create a well in each centre and add grated cheeses evenly, and encase the cheese in the burger.

Dust each burger in flour and fry in a small amount of olive oil.

I hate waste, so put some pepper in the left over oil and fry your burger buns until golden brown and crispy.

Then marvel in the deliciousness before you!!!

And if you’re feeling particularly ridiculous why not finish off with my ultimate chocolate chip cookies? … You know you want to you cheeky devil!
