Revving up date night

I love date night and even after 8 years of being together I believe in a good date night as often as possible, nothing necessarily fancy, just a little different.

So when Emma, from Turo got in touch after reading one of my date night posts, asking me on how to make date night a little special I knew this would be a fun post & got right to it.

Turo is an American company that’s just come over to the UK, where you can rent someone’s car for a great price, think of it as an Airbnb for cars.

Date night can get a little boring if you do the same thing, get stuck in a rut, or even make date night more of a routine than something special. So I thought I’d write a little post on date night ideas with a difference.

Drive in cinema

Outdoor Cinema’s are on the rise, but a drive through is something I have always wanted to do (Moonlight Drive-in Cinema). Then take a cool car for the experience, to really turn it up a gear – pardon the pun.

Dinner out

Okay, this sounds unimaginative, but stick with me! How’s about hopping in this fancy number, going a little further afield and trying that amazing pub with an open fire, finding that perfect spot for a picnic or to sit beside the seaside with fish and chips.

Exploring your surroundings

I find too often that we walk the same streets and don’t explore what is just that little bit further than our doorstep. Again wouldn’t it be lovely to get a convertible car just for the day to explore the countryside on a beautiful spring day, get me a scarf and I’d feel like I’m in an Audrey Hepburn film!

*Although this post was done in collaboration with Turo
all thoughts and ideas are my own!
