A friend was leaving work and as a little treat we decided to do something we had wanted to do for quite a while… dine at Thomas’s.
What better way to start the day, eh?
The interior is white washed, wooden, minimalist and simply gorgeous. And do make sure you pop down the spiral staircase to the loo’s, because they are a vision of marble and brass goals.
With a delicious breakfast menu laid before us, we couldn’t decide on just one each, so after ordering coffees and orange juice, we made our final picks. The coffee’s is from monmouth coffee, and very good. It’s creamy smooth and that pleasing texture when the foam and coffee seamlessly blend into one, which is high praise from too fussy coffee drinkers, whilst nothing is better in my book than freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning.
The fresh fruit, yoghurt and granola for Rosie.
The scotch buttermilk pancakes for myself. Which came with yoghurt, honeycomb (which was so so delicious) and strawberries.
And of course we couldn’t not share the crumpets too! Slathered in butter and came with jam.
Have you visited Thomas’s? I really fancy going back for lunch or dinner any recommendations?
